Chong Kim is the first Asian American survivor of abuse and trafficking to venture into filmmaking. With over 20 years of advocacy, she has shared her harrowing experience of being groomed, trafficked, and enduring trauma, including homelessness and prostitution. A recovering addict for over two decades, her story inspired the film *Eden*, featuring Beau Bridges and Jamie Chung. Now, Ms. Kim uses filmmaking to highlight the plight of trafficked girls and the systemic issues affecting them, including the fact that over 80% of trafficking victims are also incarcerated.
